Tai chi and qigong are usually performed standing, but they can also be adapted as chair-based exercises. If you find other forms of exercise too strenuous or if you have difficulty with floor-based classes such as pilates or yoga, this could be a good alternative for you.
This YouTube video will give you some idea of the type of exercises that we will be doing, although I won’t be wearing flowing robes and we will be in a village hall, not outdoors!
